Wellness Infusions

Wellness infusions are a growing trend in health services, offering a way to deliver vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream via intravenous (IV) therapy. This method allows for efficient absorption and is often chosen by individuals seeking to support their general wellbeing. At Highgate Health, all IV infusions are administered by qualified healthcare professionals, and we adhere strictly to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) guidelines to ensure safety, compliance, and high standards of care.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get a Medicare Rebate?

No all Welness Infusions do not attach Medicare rebates

Do I need a referral ?

No

Do I need an appointment before the infusion?

No, However if you would like Vitamin C as part of your treatment we need to rule out G6PD deficiency. This is a simple blood test and we can do this during your your first infusions with is .

What is G6PD and why does it matter?
G6PD is a natural enzyme in your body that helps protect your red blood cells and keeps them healthy. Some people are born with G6PD deficiency, which means they have less of this enzyme.

If someone with G6PD deficiency gets high doses of Vitamin C, it can cause their red blood cells to break down too quickly. This can lead to symptoms like fatigue, jaundice and even more serious health problems.
